Charity Work

For us at Moreton Church of England School, supporting charities is an important aspect of school life.  We aspire to our children being advocates for a better world and by teaching them to care about others we know that they will grow up seeing God’s love in action.  We donate to charities supporting people living in poverty and promote ways to protect our environment, help animals in need, or address other global or local problems.

Here are some of the ways we have helped others

Children In Need

Poppy Appeal

Foodbank

As part of our drive to meet Global Goal 2 ‘Zero Hunger’ we support the Epping Foodbank.  We  operate a ‘reverse advent calendar’ and aspects of Lent whereby the children are encouraged to bring food or everyday essentials during these times to donate to those in need of our care and support. We also collect food during harvest for the Foodbank. Details on how you can help can be found here: Epping Forest Foodbank | Helping Local People in Crisis

Mcmillan Coffee Morning

Red Nose Day

We support all these charities because we want to fulfil our vision to love God and make his love known in the way we support and help others.

We are advertising for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.
