Classes
At Moreton we are a one form entry school and have one class per year group. Each of our classes have been named by the children as a reflection of our vision. These are our classes.

Bumblebees (EYFS)
We named our class Bumblebees because we are always busy bees; working hard all day. Did you know the annual losses of honey bee colonies are in the tens of thousands? Find out how you can help preserve bees at: Bumblebee Conservation Trust and Beegirl – Love your Bees

Hedgehogs (Year 1)
We named our class Hedgehog because although hedgehogs are small, like us, they can travel a long way; our learning will take us far and wide.

Badgers (Year 2)
We named our class Badger because they live in big families, have big appetites and big personalities. We love their striking black and white stripes and the way they forage for food.

Deer (Year 3)
We named our class Deer because they are a majestic but dainty woodland mammal. We see them at times when we are making our way to school.

Pheasants (Year 4)
We’ve named our class Pheasant class because we have our very own pheasant who visits us at school. We’ve called him Kevin and he is very friendly. There are lots of pheasants living in nature near our school.

Foxes (Year 5)
We’ve named our class Fox because we think they are magnificent mammals. We are passionate about ensuring that they can live in safety in the wild without the fear of being hunted for sport.

Owls (Year 6)
We’ve named our class Owl Class because they are wise birds. As the oldest pupils of the school we believe in being good role models to the youngest pupils and making wise decisions to look after ourselves, each other, and God’s World.
